루터교회를 소개합니다.

 루터교회란?

루터교회란 신약의 기독교로부터 내려오는 전통에 서 있는 교회이며 중세교화가 성서적 신앙으로 부터 멀어져 있을때 16세기 종교개혁의 횃불을 들고 일어났던 마르틴 루터 (1483-1546)의 종교개혁에 의해 재발견된 복음의 가르침 위에 서 있는 개신교의 장자교회로서 전 세계적으로 가장 큰 개신교파입니다.

로마 가톨릭교회의 한 이름없는 수도사였던 루터가 1517년 10월 31일 제성기념일 전야에 "95개조 논제"를 비텐베르크성교회 문에 붙인 것으로부터 촉발된 작은 개혁의 물결은 걷잡을 수 없이 번져 결국에는 전체 서방 기독교 세계로 퍼지게 되었고 그의 종교개혁 사상은 신학적, 문화적, 교회적, 사학적, 민족적으로 큰 영향을 미쳤습니다. '루터란(Lutheran)'이란 말은 '루터를 따르는 놈들' 이라는 말로서 가톨릭 교도들이 붙여준 것인데 결국 교회의 이름이 되었습니다.

개혁의 주체였던 루터와 그의 동료들은 "믿음만으로, 은총만으로, 성서만으로!" 라는 3대 기치를 내걸고 바른 교회로 돌아가기 위하여 목숨을 건 투쟁을 하였으나, 과격한 다른 개혁자 교회들과는 달리 초대교회로부터 아름다운 전통을 잘 계승하여 발전시켰습니다. 즉 아름답고 올바른 예배의식과 음악, 매주일 행하여지는 성례전을 통해 모범된 교회 공동체를 이룩하였습니다.

루터교회는 신구약 성서를 신앙과 생활의 규범(Norma  Normans)으로 믿으며 세계적 보편 신조인 사도신조, 니카야신조, 아다나시안 신조를 제 2의 신행 규범(Norma Nor-mata)으로 받아들이고 있습니다.

 기독교한국루터교회의 선교역사

한국에서의 루터교 선교는 1958년에 미국의 미조리 시노드 루터교회에 의해 시작되었습니다. 루터교 선교 팀은 한국 교계를 위해 공헌하려는 큰 꿈을 가지고 있었습니다. 1968-2008년 루터교는 한국 땅에서 만50년의 시간을 지내 왔습니다. 이제는 한국에서 전체 한국 교회를 위해 일하는 교파로 서 있습니다.

From 1958 to 2008(50th anniversary), the Korea Lutheran Mission developed mass media programs,Christian literature materials and social outreach work, and initiated the training of Lutheran pastors through its Lutheran Theological Academy.During this time several churches were started, The Lutheran Church in Korea was officially organized as a national church in 1971, with five congregations. Since then, the LCK has grown to 41 congregations with about 5,000 baptized members. The LCK aims to have 500 congregations by its 100th anniversary in the year 2058.

 루터란 비전 2000

기독교한국루터회는 "루터란 비전 2000"이라는  슬로건 아래 다가오는 21세기를 맞이하고 있습니다. 우리 모든 한국 루터란은 반드시 이 목표를 이룰 것이며 꿈을 이루기 위해 기도하며 힘써 일할 것입니다. 이는 1994년 정기 총회에서 기쁘고 굳은 마음으로결의한 일입니다.

The Lutheran Church in Korea looks to the future with its LUTHERAN VISION 2000. Our whole Lutheran family must form goals and work and pray to realize our dreams, Early this spring, the LCK's Long-Range Evanggelism and Church planting Study Workshop recommended a goal of a total of 50 churches for the LCK by its 50th  anniversary year in 2008.
That means 25 new church starts. They further aim for a membership of 10,000, including the current registered membership of some 4,000.

Goal 1 : Develop a spirit of self support and giving or new mission work in each congregation.
· 목표 2 :한사람 한 평지기로 루터신학대교를 완전한 대학교로 이루었습니다.
Goal 2: Attain full accreditation for the college level of Luther Seminary to grant the BA in theology.
. 목표 3 : 중국과 북한 선교 - 우리 한국인은 동포의 복음화에 강한 책임을 가지고 있습니다. 한국 루터교회는 중국에 있는 200만 동포와 북한의 2,400만 동포들에게 복음이 전파될 수 있기를 희망하여 복음 전파의 일익을 감당할 수 있는 길을 모색하고자 합니다.
Goal 3 : Target Koreans in China and north Korea - Koreans feel a strong sense of responsibility for the evangelization of their own nation and people. The LCK is eager to help reach the two million ethnic Koreans in China and the 24 million others and sisters in north Korea in their own language.
